Pleasant Hill Baptist Church is
located in the
foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains
in an area of northern Greenville county, South Carolina appropriately
called Blue
Ridge. The Blue Ridge area adjoins the city of Greer on the North. The Blue Ridge area has a rural flavor but is rapidly expanding
with a planned 1,000 home mini-community. The area has a lot to offer. Lake
Robinson is an 800 acre fishing lake that has boat ramps, a fishing pier,
restrooms, and a picnic area open to the public. The lake is owned by Greer Public Works Commission. Also, located nearby is Greenville Technical College (Greer
Campus) and North Greenville Bible College.

South Carolina. The city is situated in the northwestern part of the
state in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. It is in the
heart of the swiftly growing "I-85" corridor, being 100 miles
southwest of Charlotte, North Carolina, and 150 miles northeast of
Atlanta, Georgia. The city has a population of 20,000 while Greenville
County now has well over 300,000 citizens. While the Greer area
at one time was known primarily for its textile mills, industry has
diversified to include the North American Headquarters of Michelin and
the only BMW assembly plant in the U.S., as well as large
manufacturing facilities for Mitubishi The area is served by the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, while major connecting traffic arteries are Interstate 85, U.S. 29, and U.S. 25. The costs of living and housing are below the national average, even with the strong growth the area is experiencing.
