What We Believe

GOD is the only one of His kind. He is creator of the universe. He uniquely reveals Himself to us as:

God the Father is creator and ruler of all. He is Omniscient (all knowing), Omnipotent (all powerful) and Omnipresent (everywhere). He created mankind to have a relationship with Him, but the fall of man into sin has separated that relationship with Him.

God the Son is Jesus Christ. He is the only way one can be united to God and escape the ravages of sin upon life – which ultimately will always lead to an eternal separation from God in hell. Jesus was incarnately conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Christ, have no sin, lived among us, proclaimed His identity of God, and proved it through His teachings, actions and resurrection from the dead.

God the Holy Spirit is the spirit of God. He exalts Christ. He convicts men of their sin, of righteousness and judgment and he teaches. He empowers Christ followers in all aspect of their lives.

The Bible: We believe in the inspiration of the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, which was divinely revealed by God to man and is without error. Every book points to God’s salvation through Jesus Christ. The Bible is the testimony of Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation and redemption. The Bible is the soul standard for all teaching and doctrine. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Salvation is the redemption of the whole man and is offered freely to all who confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. In order to be a Christ follower, one must admit that he is a sinner and ask Christ to forgive him of his sins and change his life, with the intent of giving Christ leadership of his life from that point on. There is not other way to God but through Jesus Christ.

Baptism does not save a person from hell, but is commanded as testament to show Christ’s leadership in a new believer’s life. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s death to sin and the resurrection to walk in newness of Life in Christ.
